Box in a box

This is an easy version of pass the parcel except bigger!

Collect a variety of boxes that will nest one inside another. Cardboard boxes are good for this playtime. Try to get very large boxes and very small boxes, as well as everything in between.

Place a favourite toy or treat in the smallest box for your child to find at the end of the game. Close the small box and place it in the next larger box, then close the outside box. Continue this pattern until you reach the biggest box.

Help your little one to take each box out and look inside for the next one. It’s just lovely to see their eyes widen with excitement as they open each box only to find another one inside, a little bit like a set of Russian dolls. They will be thrilled that all their hard work is rewarded with a toy surprise.
