Mad Science workshop for kids

We will be exploring the science of our everyday lives and doing hands-on science investigations on forces, gravity, air resistance, and magnetism. From creating working circuits with lights and alarms to investigating the force of gravity and making parachutes, this workshop will bring the mad scientist out in everyone.

Drop-in family session: Drawing Inspiration

Three of our regular Sunday drop-in family sessions will tie-in with the current exhibition Frederic William Burton: For the Love of Art and explore the artist’s passion for drawing, his depiction of dramatic scenes from literature, and the wild landscape of the West of Ireland.

This week, join Louise McGrath who will lead the workshop on the theme of Drawing Inspiration.

Drop-in and stay for as long (or as little!) as you wish! Children and their parents/guardians/carers are encouraged to work together on the creative project
