Weaning made Easy!

Is food before 1 just for fun? Is a healthy diet for a baby the same as a healthy diet for an adult? Is cow’s milk ok in under 1’s? What is the best milk for over one’s? Should I use wholegrains? Which yoghurts are best? What is a portion size? When is meat ok? Is kale better than red meat? What about salt? What pouches are best? How much milk does my baby need? Are rice cakes ok? My baby is constipated can you help?!

I answer all these questions and many more. I discuss the nutrients thatyour baby needs, the quantities and the best sources. I discuss the foods you are already eating and which are suitable for your baby, we look at suitable finger foods. We discuss food labels and food trickery/what to watch out for. We look at commerical baby foods. I discuss all the common problems such as fussy eating, constipation, iron deficiency anaemia etc. and how to prevent them.

Bring Along a Baby

*These concerts always sell out in advance*

Bring Along a Baby is an informal, relaxed, accessible chamber music recital, aimed primarily at parents, while babies or very young children sleep, feed and play.
There is no pressure to keep still or quiet, leaving parents free to sit back and enjoy the music. In fact, we encourage the babies to interact naturally with the music, and we have play mats and soft toys to this end.
Of course, the babies benefit from the music as well, so it’s a win-win.
