My First Art Folio

Starting with a binder or scrap book, give your child free, creative ownership of all the art work.

Collect all the scribbled-on coloring pages, pictures your child liked from magazines and brochures, leaves and flowers collected from a walk in the park, postcards, family photos printed and anything else that can be glued or taped onto a piece of paper. The point is to build up a “story” that you can later sit with your child and talk about for quiet time. It does not need to look good or make any sense but your child will know they “made” it and the fact that you are sharing it with them makes it priceless art!
