Take a look at the family friendly events happening in and around Dublin over the next week for you to enjoy.

Ages suitable for? Designed for 5-10 year olds although younger/older siblings welcome
Create your reindeer and print him green, etch an elephant and add a red nose, stamp a tree with purple snow. Our artists will be on hand to show you the techniques to print a Christmas Card and you can show us just how crazy your festive imagination can be!

Dress for Mess. Unless otherwise stated workshops are designed for children from 5-10 years, though younger and older siblings are welcome to take part. Please be aware that Draíocht’s Family Days are not designed for groups. All children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child!

Take a tour of the iconic treasures in the National Museum, including the ‘Tara’ Brooch and the Ardagh Chalice.
Family LEGO Workshop
Saturday 23rd November, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Storytelling and story-building workshop. Bring your story to life with LEGO and take your storyboard home with you!
Suitable for children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends!
Suitable for 2 – 6 people per LEGO set (6 sets available)

Crafty kids who enjoy ‘making and creating’ will love our Christmas Lantern Workshops!
Children will spend an hour in the festive workshop, cutting, pasting and creating their very own Christmas lantern.
Decorating with Christmas themes of candy-canes and gingerbread-men and using a simple LED circuit, kids will light up their creation to light up your home.
This is a festive workshop that will excite your kids and teach them about sustainable and low-carbon energy choices, particularly around Christmas.
All materials supplied. Kids take home their lantern for all to admire, or to offer as that special gift.
