Steps we are taking to reduce the spread of germs

We wanted to take this opportunity to keep you informed about the steps we are taking in ClapHandies to reduce the risk of spreading germs.

At ClapHandies we have always had rigorous cleaning schedules where all handheld equipment is Dettol wiped or dishwasher washed after every 5 hours of use (or less), with items such as the small handheld shakers wiped daily. Our policy goes well above and beyond any guidelines for creches, schools or toddler groups.

This season we will be adding the following extra precautions to help reduce the spread of germs.

1 – We are asking all attendees who have travelled to an affected areas see the list here to not attend class for at least 14 days after returning to Ireland.

2 – If you, the person who brings your little one to class or your child is showing symptoms of this, or any viral infection could we please ask that you do not attend class.

3 – We are asking that all adults and babies, wobblers or toddlers wash hands with soapy water prior to coming to class ideally in the venue where possible where we will provide soap and paper towels. Or if you will be coming directly to class from your home washing before departing will suffice.

4 – We recommend that all hands are also washed after classes before leaving the venue (where possible) and if not as soon after class as possible.

5 – While stocks last we will have hand sanitiser but as recommended by the HSE proper hand washing is preferential.
